Cant unlock my stereo on my 2000 accord - 1999 Honda Civic

Go to the Glove box and get the serial number to the stereo, It is not the unlock code itself. Call a Honda dealer and give them the serial number, and they should give you the code for free.

Put the key in the drivers door (with it closed) and manually lock and unlock the car. That should turn off the alarm.

Remove the radio from the dashboard

Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels, barcodes or stamped in the metal casing

UnfortunatelyMitsubishi codes are only available from the Main Dealer or by using a Radio Decoding Service who will connect a laptop to read the working code inside your radio`s memory chip (EEPROM)

install a new wire from the fuse to the radio and cut the old one

you have to prove this radio is yours.... by taking it to the dealer..

There might be a sticker in the glove box to the radio code or in the back pages in the manuel.
