Runs then dies

Check the battery terminals and posts are shiny clean and tight. Check that the earth wire from the battery is connected to a good clean earth point and is tight. Check that the battery leads are not corroded and ready to break at a terminal

Car runs fine but at times it will die and have to boost to start

Sounds like alternator/generator could be bad and also battery could be bad.

2005 Toyota Camry 4 cylinder intermittently won't start

try starting the car and while running disconnect the negative battery cable,if the car still runs turn on the head lights,if the car dies the alternator is weak. I think its weak and can charge the battery as long as the lights are off,but cant keep up when theyare on. so if drive most of the time in the day time you are ok as long as you dont have to start the car too many times. when you drive with the lights on and the engine slows to an idle like when you park the car dies. make sense?

New battery. abs, battery and service engine lights come on. all headlights and tails flicker and car dies and wont start. jump it let it warm up and doesnt do it for awhile. then at some point it does it...

These are all signs of a bad alternator. The car is running off of only the battery. The alternator charges the battery and keeps the car running. When the alternator quits charging the car will run fine until the battery dies. Then you can jump the battery and charge it, and the car will run fine until all of the electronics and lights run the battery down again.

Vehicle was parked and not started for 2 months.

Hi, there will be diodes in the generator that are letting the power from the battery drain away through the parked times when not in use. to prove it charge the battery- then disconnect the negative terminal on the battery, connect 24 hours later and see if the battery as kept it charge, if so - fit new alternator, good luck.

2005 suburban,I had the tires rotated and the battery died twice

Depends on how long he was trying to program the TPMS. With the engine not running and the ignition keys on, the day time running lights are on and the head lights are draining the battery. Next time your going to have the ignition keys on for a long period of time with out the engine running, set your parking brakes. Setting your parking brakes will keep your Day time running lights from coming on.

93 v6 probe gt will not start

These V6's are notorious for bad distrbutors. They get hot and a circuit opens and the engine loses spark. Buy a new or one with a warranty. Used ones have the same problem....
