I have 2005 pathfinder my car after i drive maybe 2-5 min turn off and don't start crenck end nothing, i wait 2-4 min it starts and run for little bit and its shot off again

Do it three times in a row.

1. Perform a security system relearn.
2. Let the vehicle sit for more than 10 minutes with the key off.
3. Attempt to start the engine, leave the key in the run position monitoring the security system indicator.
4. After 10 minutes, the security indicator will change state.
5. Turn the key off and wait 10 seconds.
6. Attempt to start the engine. If the engine stalls, wait another 10 minutes with the key on.
7. After the second 10 minute timer has expired, turn the key off for 10 seconds.
8. Attempt to start the engine. If the engine stalls, wait another 10 minutes with the key on.
9. After the 3rd 10 minute timer has expired, shut the key off for 10 seconds.
10. The security system will relearn on the 4th starting attempt and the engine should start and run.

Get the crank sensor replaced. This will require removing the crank pulley-balancer to replace the sensor.

This works for a 96-98 grand am for sure. Maybe help ou out? You could try resetting the computer. The car maybe in lockout mode. Try turning your car over….leave the ignition on. Wait exactly 10 min. Then try turning over again….again leave the key on. Wait exactly 10 min and do it a third time….this time the car should start…maybe run a lil rough while it relearns the processes of your vehicle again. It is important to wait the exact 10 min each time. You will probably need a battery charger or a set of jumper cables because if your car goes low during this process it will not work. I HAD SAME PROBLEM, ENDED BEING CRANK SENSOR GETTING WEAK, AFTER HOT THE CRANKING SIGNAL IS TO WEAK TO TRIGGER FIRING.

2005 pathfinder does not blow hot air only cold why

Could be a number of things, usually a blinking screen indicates that the climate control module is defective. But not always, If one of the vent doors jammed of a solenoid for one of the doors malfunctioned It would cause the screen to flash.

Ck your cap .

Turn eng. off sprary with water , wait 3 min. start it up.

Look to see if spark is jumping across to top.

If so change cap , If not ck, for oil inside cap.

I had this problem for years when my 87 was only a few years old. Even though it was tested over and over, the distributor ended up being the problem. I got lucky when a friend saw it posted in a tom and ray column in their local newspaper. It was for a corolla, but same year. I told my mechanic to replace it. He said I didn't need one, I insisted he replace it anyway and I've NEVER had the problem again.
