Transmission Input Speed Sensor (G182 VAG com code): Circuit Malfunction
The Input Turbin Speed Sensor is located inside the transmission, the code can be caused by a failed sensor or sensor wiring or a slipping transmission.
17099 P0715 Input Turbine/Speed Sensor Circuit = Malfunction.
This points to a failed or failing sensor or even wire on the sensor inside the transmission which measures speed of shaft rotation and engine rpm's to watch for slipping inside the wet clutches relative to the turbine shaft..........Phew.!
