Dear Sir, I have bought used Suzuki without owner’s manual. It is registered as Vitara 1998 (VIN 2S3TD52VXX6100360). Judging from pictures in the web it looks like Grand Vitara 1999. I am a bit confused. I am asking this because I am looking for owner’s manual and would like to be sure. Best regards, Ildar

You have a Grand Vitara. DMV usually doesn't list the whole model just a short version example: Ford Grand Torino, DMV would just list it as a Torino. So no worries. The 98 & 99 Grand Vitara's look identical. They have the same drive-trains, same everything pretty much.

Get in touch with your local Suzuki dealer they should have a handbook if not they can order one for you, sometime you can even get one on ebay.

No tricks...if you got any of the original paperwork with the vehicle check and see if anyone wrote down the code (on the inside cover of the manual etc) If not, go to any dealer and show them that you are the owner and they can get the code for you. When you get it, write it down so you will always have it! (I never heard of a dealer charging for that info)...Good luck with your vehicle!
