After filling up at the pump my eclipse wont start like the battery is completely dead but the battery is fine and jumping didn't work. none of the lights or anything works. I thought it might be because i started filling it before i turned it off and then it wouldn't start again

After i checked the wires and fuses and nothing was wrong there i did more research and one person told me it was the ignition starter so i replaced it but there was no change, if it is the ground why would this happen now and where is it at?

No there were no lights or anywhere but the horn did work i think i remember trying it. i replaced both battery terminals and cleaned the wires and everything and that was the problem, but the new starter didn't work i had to put my old one back in it for it to start. Thanks for the help

Battery wont jump start

possible but my money is on a bad battery. have a load test done on the battery. I suspect that the over heating problem is not completely fixed as water pumps will still pump water as long as they can be turned . Probably all that was done was to tighten the drive belt . Unless the pump seal was worn out and you were loosing coolant.. Clicking noise when trying to start is bad connection or dead battery.
