Hi

It sounds like the bottom suspension arm on the left hand side has worn away. If you hit the gas hard but briefly you should here some kind of a clunk, not always but this is a good indicator of bottom arm suspension failure, it is basically a rubber mount that aligns the front wheels, when these go there is to much movement as these normally absorb the excess.

Hope this helps
Regards
Dan

Reset oil change light on citeron nemo 2011

Reset oil light after service... that is very important. And don't skip the oil change either.

1-turn on the ignition key,
2-press the gas pedal and hold it,
3-press the brake pedal 7 times without relesing the gas pedal,
4-keep pressing the gas pedal for 60sec.
5-Release the gas pedal and turn of the ignition key,
6- Wait for 60sec.
Then turn on the ignition key and start the engine. Check if the service/oil change light turned off.
That's it. Worked on my 2011 nemo van.

Car will not accelerate when gas pushed

Clutch plate and pressure plate seem to be too weak to pull the car. To test the clutch plate, park the car on flat surface. Pull the hand brake up, start the car, depress the foot brake pedal, depress the clutch pedal, put the car in 1st gear, press the gas pedal and leave the clutch pedal at once, while keeping the brake pedal depressed.
Follow one of the two following statements:
1. Engine does not shut down and remain start. (Clutch plate, pressure plate and clutch bearing defective - Replace all as a set)
2. Engine shuts down. (Clutch system is OK and does not require any repair).

Gas pedal reving up and not relaxing.

I have had a problem on a 2008 Santa Fe with the gas pedal going to idle while driving. I shut the car off and turned it back on and it behaved normally so I drove it to the dealer. It had triggered the check engine light and the Hyundai mechanics were able to read a code that told them that the problem was in the sensor on the pedal. They replaced it under warranty. No problem since.

Stuck gas pedal cause the car not to start

Yes, if the gas pedal is stuck fullt down the Throttle Sensor located in the throttle body will note the throttle position and shut down the fuel injectors. If in the future your fuel injected car becomes flooded, hold the gas pedal down and turn the engine over this will help free the engine of too much fuel.

I hope this may have assisted you,
Tom

Car accelerates without pressing gas pedal

I had a similar problem with a K5 Blazer, where the gas pedal had a plastic pivot point in the linkage. After about 60K miles, the pivot developed a burr that locked the gas pedal open and kept the vehicle about 60 MPH. If I kicked the pedal to knock it off the burr, it would then slow down. Try it...
