I have a 2006 Honda Pilot and the cd player/ radio just stoped working. Every turns on but all i can hear is a low high pitch buzzing noise come from my rear driver side door speaker. And the other speakers have no sound coming from them.

do you have cd in the player-take them all out and see if noise continues-you could also find the fuse for the radio and pull it to see if that stops the noise- cheers Denny
Now having never worked on one recently i cannot know but i would be inclined to look under the passenger side dash as most cars with AC seem to have them in this area ,Then follow your nose with the help of a torch
What it sounds like is that your pilot bearing has gone out, and that could be causing the high pitch grinding noise and when the gears are hard to shift that is a tale tale sign of a bad/weak pressure plate and or master cylinder. I would recommend changing out the clutch, pilot bearing, pressure plate, slave cylinder and having the flywheel resurfaced.
