Hi, these codes all relate to the throttle. Perhaps a new TPS will solve the problem.

    1260 is Throttle return spring
1251 is Throttle Motor (closing direction)
P1231 Throttle Position Sensor 1 and 2 Circuit. Sum Out of Range (No Limp Home).

Check engine light is on, any speed above 30mph it gives a flashing check engine light, acceleration feels bogged down, engine idle is rough and shakes the truck

I'm guessing you have over 100000 miles , definitely replace all the spark plugs and ignition cables and cap and rotor if your motor is such equipped. If you want a better idea of which cylinders are misfiring, go to your local Checker or Autozone and ask them for code retrieval, codes stored will give you an idea of what is failing. Code po300 is multiple misfire, po301 is cyl #1, po302 is cyl #2 and so forth.

hi I assume this is a fuel injection vehicle and if so it sounds a lot like you have a throttle body problem or throttle sensor problem ,have you also checked that the fuel filter is not blocked, remove the fuel filter and blow thru it in the direction of flow and if your cheeks blow up while blowing thru the filter it is blocked or restricted -replace.
hope that helps .

having PO 304 = Misfire cylinder 4,PO 306 = Misfire cylinder 6, as I read above you have done the most. The thing that you have missed is to check whether the Catalytic Converter is faulty or not. To get an idea check whether you have a smell like rotten eggs at the end of the exhaust, you start having problems with cat and needs replacement. My advice before you go for a cat replacement is good to visit an MOT center and check your emissions and then you decide,

I have a 2004 Sante Fe 4 cyl. The check engine light came on and the codes were:P0300, PO446 AND PO 320. I had the IGNITION sensor replaced. the check engine light is still on and now I'm getting the...

OK To start with, you need to forget about the air conditioner until you get your engine running correctly. The HVAC is controlled by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). The PCM is probably not allowing the HVAC to run due to all the engine misfire codes you are getting. It may be someting else, but until you get your engine running right, you could be spinning your wheels.

I have no clue what you are talking about when you say "Ignition Sensor" - there is no such sensor on any vehicle that I am aware of. There are many sensors that can affect the ignition like the Crankshaft Position Sensor, but none are called "Ignition Sensor".

P0300 Simply means that there is more than one cylinder misfiring.
P0301 means that cylinder #1 is misfiring, P0302 means that cylinder #2 is misfiring, P0303 means that cylinder #3 is misfiring, and P0304 means that cylinder # 4 is misfiring. (these are what are known as "current faults". The codes ending in "P" mean the same thing, but they are "pending" codes. Current faults MUST be dealt with FIRST.

The P0446 is not a valid code for a 2003-2005 Hyundai Santa Fe as far as I can tell. I tried to look the code up by application and it simply is not there. You may want to read the code again. Sometimes, if you are reading the codes with a "generic" OBD code reader, it will give the closest description it can for a "Vehicle-Specific" code. They are not allways correct. You may want to scan your computer with a scanner that is equipped with the Vehicle-Specific software for your vehicle. You will probably get a different rendering of the code.

The "generic" description of P0446 is "Evaporative Emmission Control System Vent Control Circuit" Again, the DTC list for your vehicle lists similar codes: P0445, P0447 and P0448, however it skips over the P0446 code. If you in fact have a problem with your EVAP vent solenoid circuit, it could, concievably be the cause of your misfire problem. It is possible that the vent solenoid is causing a huge vacuum leak. NOT LIKELY that it is causing the misfire codes, but POSSIBLE.

Anyway, there are literally HUNDREDS of parts that can be the cause of a misfire. This needs to be PROPERLY DIAGNOSED to determine the cause. It could be anything from worn-out spark plugs, a vacuum leak, a faulty fuel pump, all the way to a blown head gasket or cracked cylinder head. Whatever the actual cause may be, it is obviously affecting all 4 cylinders. (This will rule out some things).

Misses when I accelerate , idles just fine

apply brake and accelerate engine while vehicle is standing still, you need to apply brake hard, DO NOT do this for a period of more than 1 minute or you will be putting alot of stress on your transmission. you will be trying to set off the "check engine" warning lamp or the "service engine soon" warning lamp, and get a misfire failure code, after code sets on your vehicle computer, get it scanned it will tell you which engine cylinder is misfiring ie "P0301= cylinder #1 misfire" then check out spark plug, spark plug wire and ignition coil. one of them is probably causing this.

Well, it is either a timing belt/chain going out or a bad crank position sensor most likely causing the other problems. The O2 sensor may be bad as well but that usually doesn't cause the Misfire. The vehicle on board computer is confused, that is why it is throwing all those codes. and why it gives you that 1166 code which isn't defined. Check the crank position sensor and the timing and timing belt first. Once you have that fixed the rest should clear up.

Sounds like misfire... Did the 'Check Engine' Light come ON? Whenever the 'CHECK ENGINE' light comes on, the ECU (Engine Control Unit) sets a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC). These codes identify the particular engine management system which caused the light to come on.
You'll need to use/find an OBDII (On-Board Diagnostic) Scanner to retrieve any code which have been stored in the ECU computer. Afterward, we might be able to help you DIAGNOSE and perhaps eventually fix the problem.
