Check the fluid level, if possible and fill until full when at normal operating temperature.

If this doesn't solve the problem, maybe consider a flush and fill of the transmission fluid, with the understanding that if this doesn't solve the problem, a rebuild may be required at that point.

Typical price for a flush and fill will be about $100.

Good luck on this repair.

Where is the transmission control module located on a 2007 chevy uplander located

It is in with the Engine control module. They are one in the same. Probably not the problem. When TCM's go out, they usually have no gear/movement, really hard shifts, or won't go to a higher gear. Check the fluid and or add a transmission additive. Additives work for a while.

Gear shift seems broke, it won't go into any gear i have a 2005 chevy uplander just happened today with no warning went to reverse, tried to put into drive and there was nothing it just looks broke.

Check linkage at transmission. Cable end may have popped off ball fitting. Just snap it back on .it will pop off sometimes if you shift it hard . Hope this helps
