We where parked outside an mall and we started up our Honda Pilot 2004 then the car started shaking like if a pipe or a tube was clogged. Then when we started to move The VTM-4 light turned on red aswell as the check engine light which was yellow. When we accelerated the check engine light flashed and when the car deaccelrated the check engine light was steady it never turned red. After a few moments when we where on the freeway about 30 miles away from where we left the check engine light never flashed even when we accelerated and the shaking stopped. After 50 miles when we got home we turned off the car and started it up again after about 15 minutes the VTM-4 light didn't turn on, the shaking never came up, but the check engine light was still a steady yellow. There weren't any sounds like something clunking. We are wondering what caused this and can someone help us out Thank you.

You may have purchased some bad fuel only. it happens alot. pay attention to the fuel that you purchase as hondas are known for rejection of ethynol based fuel. or you bought bad gas that had water in it. be loyal to the place that you purchase your fuel! if it sounds to good to be true, well you know. the best fuel is 93 octane at the place that you can trust to sell 93octane right? i can't recommend a certain buisness, but oil spills are never good. good luck and thank you for choosing fixya.com.

My wifes 2001 Honda Odysseys battery did in a parking lot. Mall security hooked up the jumpstart cables wrong (I guess) now it won't start at all. Could he have overloaded the fuse? and is there

you need to look at the fuses in the under hood fuse box f you look at the center of the fuse and see if the line is broken in the center if so its bad

How do I fix the auto locks on the passenger side (front and back door) on the 2004 Honda Pilot... fuse??

If you are talking about wanting them to unlock the same time as your drivers door after you put the car in Park, that is something you need to program. Look in your owners manual and it will walk you through the procedure to either make all 4 doors unlock or just your drivers door.

Hope this helps

I can't fill my tank up with gas on my 2004 Honda Pilot. I get about 1/2 gallon in and the pump either stops or spits gas back out at me. The tank is not full.

Your problem is the breather on the tank
Its a pipe fitted to the tank that lets the air out when you put fuel in. and it sounds like its blocked up or has a kink in it
Find it ,clean it, and your ok to fill up.

Honda pilot blower motor stops

Hi,
When you removed your motor, did you check in the area where the motor mounted to see if there was an obstruction? It could be a bit of insulation or paper... just a thought.
Good luck!
