Sound like somone is taking u for a ride just by what u r saying i would take to your local parts house most will scan for free but if me change engine coolant temp sensor or air intake sensor these two sensor control air fuel control think about it cold morning need more gas when engine warms dont need as much fuel to keep running kinda like a choke
Idle Air Control Motor That Is Dirty, Or Faulty. Good Luck
Have same problem with 2005 Chevy Blazer! 58,000km. acts up sometimes when cold, or warm, starts okay, then stalls when driving. Have replaced battery, MAF sensor, air filter, fuel filter, idle air control motor and throttle, tune up,etc. no codes come up anywhere when scanned, and doesn't always happen?! Worst vehicle ever! Not reliable. have struggled with it for 2 months!

I had the same problem with my 2006 trailblazer. Turns out that the transmission was the cause of the vehicle stalling out when we switched from reverse to drive right after starting it. The colder the air temp, the more likely it was to stall. After the vehicle warmed up, it was always fine for the rest of the day. The problem went away when we had to replace the transmission that went bad.
