My heater will not work. I just got my car back from the dealership yesterday. The heat worked last night, but this morning it did not. It only has water in it. Do i need to add coolant?

Would begin by replacing car battery and if it starts, check for codes. If no scan tool available, drive to closest auto parts store that can check this at no charge.
Rear heat not working ? The blower motor isn't working ? No air coming from the rear vent's ? Is it just a yukon or XL or denali ? What size engine ? 4.8 , 5.3 or 6.0 l Manual or automatic climate control ? Does the blower motor work on any speed ? The front an rear heater system are seperate , have there own electrical circuits . Could have a couple of different systems ,could have a control processor or relay's an a resistor block . Do you know how to test automotive electrical circuit's using a wiring diagram and a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter ? Bad heater core. What is happening is when you turn on the air you are getting fumes from the heat of the engine and the heater core leaking causing you to get a smell and also fumes. I would suggest that you take it to the dealership or a mechanic and have the problem fixed ASAP due to the health issue
