Starter problems i have a 1992 ls400....the car died on me once for about three days, so i let it parked for those three days then i tried starting and it didnt start, i waited about 2 minutes then started the car and it work.............now the car is dead on me again this time its not working, when i try to start the car there will be a clicking noise coming from the engine.... alot of people tell me its the starter but im not sure...thanks

Its a hot start issue.

Can be related to low fuel pressure or problem with crank sensor.

Also it can be weak battery or starter.

Can be loose battery connection,or weak starter motor/solenoid.Sometimes new battery even comes weak/faulty.Get the battery bench tested at local car garage.

Check battery first........connectiions at battery and under vehicle at starter......You need a testlight
to check for power at starter when you try to start it....(2 man operation).....If you dont have power at starter when turning switch more than likely switch or relay is bad....More than likely have a faulty starter / battery / or bad connection

Sounds more like the neutral safety switch if you,ve had the problem before and putting from park to neutral solved the problem

bad computer. had the same problem sent mine to auto computer exchange in Davie Fl. they reprogramed it . The problem is gone.
