After changing timing belt & balancer belt. aligned marks on cams to TDC #1& (single white mark on flywheel). Aligned oil pump, & balancer shaft & installed balancer belt. The flywheel has 3 marks. 1 single white, 3 red short, long, short., 1 white cross or (plus sign). Its manual trans 5 speed. When I started the car, it had no power and ran rough. Did I time it to the wrong mark on the flywheel.

The white mark is the one indicating TDC. The red one indicates 12 degfrees befor TDC. If you don't have the belt on as yet, then the mark you are looking for will be on the crankshaft sprocket that the timing belt rides on. You line up that mark with the arrow on the block. This arrow is located directly above the crank sprocket.

hi the balance shaft has to set by removing the bolt in the engine block that is in line with the front of the balance shaft the get a 6mm bolt that is 100mm long slide it into the hole where you revoved the bolt turn the balance shaft keeping a slight pressure on the bolt until it locates the hole in the shaft and locks it up then if you look at the oil pump there is a mark on the top of the housing and the oil pumps shaft just line them up stick your belt on tension and remove the locking bolt yates210456

Does it vibrate all the time at 60 or only when you apply the brake?
SOURCE: need a picture or diagram of top dead center/86' honda prelude 2.
From what I see in my manual,
1.There is a Timing Pointer on the back of the engine. There is a White mark on the flywheel. The white mark must line up with the timing pointer, for Number 1 piston to be at Top Dead Center.
2.Facing the engine, looking at the camshaft sprocket. The sprocket has spokes. On one of those spokes is the word, "UP" in raised letters, or there is a small Dot. As you can see here, the spoke with the word UP goes -> Up.
(Same thing of course if it is a Dot, instead of UP)
On the back of the camshaft gear, (Sprocket), are marks. On the edges of the camshaft gear. These line up with the top edge of the cylinder head. The surface of the cylinder head, where the valve cover bolts down to.
I'm sorry, at present I do not have a website, that I could link you to for a diagram, or photo.
