Hi same thing happen to me years ago, seems like one side has striped the little teeth off and how I fixed it was make sure the wipers are turned off and take the nut off on the wiper that doesn't move and remove the wiper, Then replace it sitting the same angle as the good wiper and tighten the nut up slightly tighter than before... It should grip.. I hope this helps...
My wife has a 08 Fox and her front wipers stopped working it's just a fuse in bank 7 a 10 amp just replace with a new one or swap for the 10 amp fuse in bank 11 (just a warning lamp for the handbrake) until you get a new one. ;-)
If the motor works when the wiper stalk is moved, but the wipers do not move then the retaining nuts for the wiper arms may be lose., but the motor doesn't work then check the front wiper relay if its relay is work then u have to change the wiper motor sorry.
1. check the fuse to the rear wiper motor
2. check for power to rear wiper motor at the motor (power wire going in to the wiper motor with rear wiper switch on)
If you have good fuses & have power going in to the rear wiper motor...
3. Pull old rear wiper motor and install a new rear wiper motor.
Thank you please drive thru......
