I have a '93 Lexus SC400, and I have an orange light that is coming on in the upper left hand portion of the insturment panel. It is rectangular in shape. What is this for? Ihave had the car for years, and I've never seen this before. I know it's not the oil light, but I don't have any idea what this might be.

There should be defect with sensors. check with engine scanner

If your check engine light is on then there is something not functioning the way its meant to.give the car time to warm up for awhile and then switch the car off for a few minutes. Restart the car,your check lights should come on a go off after its checks. Try that and see if it works out. Good luck.

2002 lincoln. Ls v8.. burning smell?? Tried to run hot after 15min drive at a red light but when i took off went back to half way? Keeps running hot??

Engine is too hot which is burning oil and road dirt off the engine. Sounds like a bad thermostat or a water pump problem. The radiator may be partially blocked too.

2006 Lincoln LS slows down to 20 mph. After engine is shut off it runs ok, then later slows down again. What could be doing this?

You mean they cannot retrieve the codes for you? Mazda Trouble Codes OBD1 2CarPros . This site will tell you all about it and give code descriptions. For the stalling, look into the computer controlled idle valve or motor. It may need cleaning or have it checked at any rate.

idle air control motor isnt stepping up the idle on decel and extra engine load. power steering, high beams, a/c, etc...check IAC motor on throttle body.

Pull the MAF sensor and give it a cleaning the correct way.Sometimes something shorts those probes(tiny wires and delicate) and your engine will cut a shine on you.
Look up how to clean the MAF sensor if you don't know how. don-ohio

Hello brothers i have Suzuki Reno 2007 ...few days ago the shifter was not coming out of park and brake lights was not working ..i was pressing the shift lock release button to move the shifter out of park...

You may have a fault with your number 2 lambda sensor. You need to get the fault codes checked to see if there Is any faults stored on the ecu.
