My brake lights dont work on my 92 toyota pick up

Could be fuse, Brake pedal switch or globes

Check the fuse?

in my 92 yota pick up the fuel filter is on the right side of the motor towards the bottom..(thats if your at the front of the vehicle).. for me my truck is lifted so i had to change everything from beneath the truck!

Check compression, my truck did the same thing and I had no compression on one cylinder and had to have a valve job done.

You say the brakes work fine, so lets start with the e-brake switch,make sure swith is working and ebrake is all the way off, the next thing is the sensor in the mastercylinder, is the brake fluid low or is the sensor working,with this sensor and the ebrake sensor try unplugging and see if light goes out, start with these things first,also there are no brake fluid leaks on the ground,this would cause the poprotioning valve to turn the light on also,but lets start with the other things first. hope this helps.

check in the trunk there should be a twist and pull plug, possibly covered by carpet and or paneling.

P.S. it's a VALVE cover gasket

It should be in the secondary fuse/relay box under the hood.

add fluid then recheck for the light, also when fluid level goes down it means the brakes are nearly worn out.
