My 1995 Buick Regal is not starting, checked everything and it will start past the coil, how do you check the neutral park switch without replacing it? I have checked all the other starting componants, It was not starting once in a while, moved the shifter and it would start, now it is not starting at all. Can the neutral park switch be bypassed, and how do you check to see if you need a new one?

I also have a 95 regal you will want to check the fuel pump relay switch which is located under the hood in the front fuse box on the passenger side also check the wiring underneath the fuse box also you may have a broken wire

you have what is called a btsi, brake trans shift interlock that may be the problem, usually there is a little square cover on the console you can remove and use a screwdriver to depress the latching mechanism to shift the car out of park

Pass key is the security system which disables the car if it is stolen. You need the remote or a key with a chip to start the car. go to a dealer, prove ownership with registration and they will be able to help you out
