1993 Buick Regal 3.1 - just purchased for my son and it's been running fine for about 2 weeks. One day he was driving and it stalled and would not re-start. Changed the fuel filter, pump is working fine. it will start and appear to be running great then intermittenly stall and sometimes takes 5 - 10 minutes to start again. We've heard to check the MAF sensor and chamshaft positioning sensor. Very frustrated!

Thank you so much - yes the engine light IS on as well as the check guages. We are going to get a scan tool tonight. I know when they checked the plugs they were tapped very high and different for each and appeared to be the original stock plugs (car only had 1 owner when we purchased it).
