Hi, I copied the below procedures from Autozone.com. Unfortunately there are no pictures. Please let me know if you get stuck, and thanks for using FixYa.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the screws securing the cluster trim plate to the instrument panel.
  3. Tilt the top of the cluster trim plate downward releasing the clips that mount the bottom of the trim plate to the dash. Remove the trim plate.
  4. Remove the screws attaching the accessory trim center plate to the dash.
  5. Tilt the top of accessory trim plate downward releasing the clips that mount the bottom of the plate to the instrument panel. Remove the plate.
  6. Remove the screws attaching the control assembly to the dash.
  7. Remove the control assembly from the dash.
  8. Disconnect the control assembly electrical connectors.
  9. Remove the control assembly.

If I've understood u correctly follow the wire from the fan to the switch which is usually mounted on or by the thermostat housing. Remove the coolant cap to releive the pressure. Remove the plug from the switch & Use a wrench to remove it but have the replacement one ready to install (thread sealer etc) & prepare for some coolant loss. put in the new one & tighten it snug but not over tighten. Plug it back in & u should be good to go

2002 Pontiac air settings 1,2 and 5 don.t work on my A/C and Heater

Your blower motor resistor module has failed. You can replace it with a little effort. The cost is around $35 to $40.

My heater in my 2002 Pontiac Grand Pr ix doesn't work, just blows out cold air. Heater core is good, took it to a auto parts store, said it maybe a switch i need to turn on. but i don't know where that is...

Dont get advice from a parts store. Find a shop that works on your type of car. You may have a temp door actuator thats bad. But dont guess, have it checked out first.

No day lights/ no heater/ac fan

Ignition switch doesn't sound right, instead try locating relay, that would be the first thing that I would check.Hope I could help.

unplugging MAF tells the pcm that the car has a problem some pcm,s will atomatically turn on fan, have you changed fuel filter or checked fuel pressure, the fan will only come on if temp reaches 104oc or air cond pressure gets to 250psi
