Hi Teresa thats ththhe sign of a battery going bad, how old is the battery? You might want to have it load tested so you can trouble shoot further, there could be more than 1 issue.

turn over or run
turning over is cranking but not starting/running
not turning over indicates seized motor , bad battery starter motor problems , bad ground
turning over is cranking but not starting ---broken timing belt/chain, crank/cam position sensors , no fuel , no spark , no injector operation
best run the fault codes as the fauty will be recorded there

IT IS LOOKS LIKE A FUEL PRESSURE LEAKING INSIDE THE ENGINE OR DEFECTIVE FUEL INJECTOR LEAKING . TRY DISCONNECTING THE FUEL PUMP RELAY. AND CRANK THE ENGINE IF ALWAYS CRANK WITH OUT OF FUEL (CRANK WITHOUT START) YOU HAVE FUEL LEAK INSIDE THE ENGINE
REMOVE THE INJECTORS RAIL UP EVERYTHING CONNECTED,PUT BACK THE FUEL PUMP RELAY TURN THE SWITCH ON AND FIND WICH ONE IS LEAKING. (GASOLINE IS FLAMMABLE TAKE CARE)

cars do not turn on, they have 4 steps. (ottocycle engine cars)
cranks, starts and runs, and sustains. (each step can fail)

my guess, is yours fails at the crank step , #1?
no crank ? diffr,car but steps are same.

step 1: do jumper cables crank car.? up? from a running other car?
if the battery is indeed charged, at 12.6v rested.
then hot wire the ST KEY line, does it crank now?

Yes?, then the KEY line is bad, ask how to fix.
no?, then the starter is bad. (hit it with a hammer. crank now)
hit the casing of the starter, this can make it wake up for a while.

trick 2, wiggle the A/T? gear shifter, as you CRANK iT.
trick 3,, start the car in neutral , this used near virgin contacts and can start many dead key line car.

Turn over and crank are the same ... if it turns over, it will crank ... if it is cranking, it is turning over. It may be cranking and thus turning over, but not starting, this is one kind of problem ... If it is not cranking, it is not turning over ... not cranking or turning over is generally an electrical problem though it could be a mechanical problem ...

have scanned to find problem code to get an idea of what it is. .it may either be the crank or cam sensor, check the crank sensor first. if it is bad it sends wrong timing info to pcm. therefore jeep will not start!! Not sure what yor experiencing . Do you have crank no start or no crank no start? No crank no start is battery and cables issue. Crank no start is ignition , plugs, and fuel.
