06 Sonata with the same problem. Seems like it might be the actuator but at times it work perfectly. May remove the trim panel to check for a loose connection before I spend 150 for a new actuator

My problem is exactly the same. The driver door lock will not lock or unlock with the remote, or the control on the doors. It wil lock with the manual lock, and will unlock with the key.

Have taken door panel off, but can not get to the lock.

All doors were locked, went to unlock the front drivers door and wouldn't unlock with key, but was able to unlock the passenger front door with key, but immediately all doors locked again.

Since driver door is locked and cannot and will not unlock from outside or inside, where can the lock actuator be found.
