No power I just bought a 90 talon tsi about a month ago. it has 152000 miles. it runs fine other than when i try to rev the motor or it get moving quick it bogs out an has no power at all. it also does it when i shift sometimes. shakes

If the check engine light is on,have it scanned for trouble codes.Diagnose and repair any codes.I have a car very very similar to yours with 188k miles,great car,runs drives great,good mileage,heat,a/c paint,everything,just no power.2.0 ltr sohc,,non turbo,they just weren't very powerful in those days.Mine has new timing belts too,and no diff in the performance before or after.Maybe a true cold air intake might help power a little.Also have the catalytic convertor checked for adequate flow as over the years they can restrict flow a little at a time and dwindle power output.
