I have a Jaguar Stype 2002...I took it to jaguar to change a coil....they told me that i would have to change the battery soon....its low....so they charged it and said when you a chance change it.....so I let it go for a few months yesterday my car was fine untill I turned it on and then it died within 2 sec. then I waited a few min same thing again....So i went and bought a battery switched it and open the door the alarm went off then I put the key in ignition....it turns over but wont start??? I dont know what to do????

    YOU NEED A NEW BATTERY UNDER THE HOOD.IF BATTERY VERY WEAK AND OLD COLD WEATHER WILL KILL IT.SOUND LIKE YOU NEED NEW BATTERY.

This sounds like a alarm problem, try closing and locking your door, then using your remote to unlock as if you have just got to your car in the morning... Im thinking along the lines that you car alarm is activating the ignition auto shut off....

u1400 is a code that i do not recognise, u140 is a body module coms fault code. what is the problem with your car? some fault codes on these cars are generic and will always be logged. hope this helps.

I have a 2001 Jaguar Stype and i recently took my car to the mechanics to have the suspension changed. Once i turned on my car the sign saying CATS System fault appeared,what might be causing that to...
the new suspension may not have the necessary sensor and so the wire was not connected . Or the wire to the sensor was not connected.. It may be necessary to reset the CPU after the change.

Can you add a cd changer to a 2005 Jaguar Stype
Yes. You will need a proper Jaguar changer with the correct fibre optic leads (d2b) then It will need to be programmed to the vehicle wich can only be done by Jaguar. You may also need the correct carpet for the n/s of the boot

How to unlock truck jaguar stype when no power
The button or the fob will not work with low or no battery power - you need to use the key. There is a keyhole on the boot under the trim or under by the reg. plate lights according to what facelift model you have.
