My car stalls and dies (2001 cadillac catera) when i press on the brakes or make a turn slowing down like its out of gas and the battery and fuel cap light comes on? what is the problem?

Clean you battery terminals carefully. Thst is a German GM Opal vehicle. Clean the electric connections carefully. If it keeps messing up ... don't keep shedding tears over it. Get a civic or Corolla.

I have the same problem plus the "s" light starts flashing too. i changed the crank shaft sensor but the problem is back the next day. i flushed the transmission fluid and change the filters but the problem is back the same day, i still cant find the cause yet but my next guess would be either the nuteral safty switch or the transmission control modual... any idea of what might be the problem please help.. and good luck. thnx
