1999 Grand Cherokee. Left turn signal does not work at all. All of the 4 ways work except the left rear. I have replaced the left rear bulbs and replaced the entire tail light assembly. Still no good. I checked the voltage at the connector that goes into the tail light assembly-no voltage. I can't find a detailed wiring diagram on the web.

would the relay cause problems with the 4 ways or right turn signal?

Why does my turn signal/ hazard light fuse keep blowing out

you have a short in one of the light sockets or a worn wire from the wiring harness. could be the flasher assembly. are the turn signals different bulbs from the brake lights? Does using the brakes blow the fuse? (Rear lights or brake light switch on brake pedal). left or right turn signal blowing the fuse will tell which side has the short. 4 ways only, replace the relay.

Left turn signal works off and on. flashers are ok.

you might have a loose bulb in one of the lights. Check the bulbs. If you have not replaced them, replace them. Bulbs get weak after a long period. 1999 to 2010?

Left turn signal works part-time

Put the hazard flashers on and see which one isnt working. If they work, then you may need to check them while thay are acting up. So when the left doesnt work, pull over and see which bulb isnt on. Its either the front or the rear.

Left directional light intermittent to plain out...

I was once a fleet manager with many Jeep Grand Cherokees 1999-2002. We had TREMENDOUS problem with REAR tailight housings. It seem the tailight/signal/back-up light circuitry is embedded in the plasticx of the housing. NO WAY to repair. Replaced with a new one from Jeep. Problem gone. ( at least until the other side went bad ) Not a guarranty, but it's a good chance it has the same problem.

Intermittent left turn signal - 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Generally, if a bulb has failed or is making only poor contact, the blink rate will increase since the standard blinker relay uses a thermal strip heated by current flow to the bulbs and when it is too low, it blinks rapidly and briefly.
You still have the front bulbs to check and maybe pulling the fuse for that circuit and plugging it back in might remove some corrosion from the blades.
The flasher relay is probably OK since this would affect both sides.
