It takes either 4 1/2 or 5 qts to fill it. Start with the 4 1/2 qts and check your dipstick on flat/level surface and add if not at full mark

How many quarts of transmission oil for 1994 plymouth voager transmission?

What engine does it have? And it is an auto? Also Castrol and Shell only list a Plymouth Voyager from 1996. In 1994 they list a Neon.

1992 Plymouth Voyager valve adjustment

Your car has hydraulic valves, which means they are not adjustable.
If they are clattering, you may need to change the oil (If it is dirty) and run some cleaner through the motor.
What I mean is, add the cleaner to the fresh oil and filter you put in the motor.
50 years ago, we used to add a quart of automatic transmission fluid to the oil to clean the motor.
Automatic transmission fluid is basically colored detergent.
We would then drain the oil and transmission fluid when it got dirty, like maybe 500 or 1000 miles.
You do not want to put too much oil in the motor, so you would substitute the tranny fluid for the last quart of oil.
Be blessed.

I've owned a a 2000 Plymouth Grand Voyager for a year now. I change my own oil in it. Twice now, when I'm done and checking the dip stick for the oil level, the stick is bone dry! The first time this...

The van must be on level ground while checking. after adding the correct amount of oil making sure to prime the oil filter before installing run the van for approx 30 seconds turn off and recheck after 1 min.
