Hello: Bank 1 tells you it is the side of the engine that has #1 cylinder (Which on your truck is the drivers side) SENSOR 1 IS THE SENSOR FOR THAT BANK IN FRONT OF THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER. This code tells us the heater in the sensor has a problem. You should replace the sensor. (Experience: I highly recommend a GM part. The GM engine control module is very sensitive to 02 sensors). Make sure the truck end of the harness connector is clean and not damaged. After replacing sensor you will have to have the code cleared. (auto Zone, Advance Auto may can do it and not charge you.

This is the oxygen sensor that is screwed into the exhaust. Bank 1 means that it is on the same side as cylinder #1. Sensor 1 means that it is before the catalytic converter not after. Generally when you get an O2 sensor code, it is usually not the oxygen sensor itself but something else causing it to read rich or lean. However, this particular code is for the heater circuit within that sensor. This is a confirmed kill, replace that sensor.

My jeepliberty will crank but not fire. error code 135 BANK 1 AND 155 BANK 2?

If they are codes P0135 and P0155 they refer to both O2 sensors nearest the engine on the exhaust. The ones before the catalytic converter on each exhaust pipe.
P0135 = O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1
P0155 = O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 2 Sensor 1

The computer says that it has a code p1131 manufactor control fuel air metering also p0135 o2 sensor heater ciruit malfunction bank1 sensor1 and p0307 cylinder misfire

firstly check your 02 sesor bank 1 sensor 1 first because maybe 02 sensor death come out more fuel until air metering cannot control so air metering code came out and spark plug overdose fuel and misfire incur check with ohm meter to get the ohm from the 02 sensor rectify

I'm thinking about buying a 2002 range rover. It has a service/check engine codes of 134,135,155. Is it likely to be more than oxygen sensor problems? Please reply , Mel

with those codes showing, it could be either bad O2 sensors or there is a problem with the wiring to those sensors. Also, the wrong sensors may be installed. I'm assuming codes P0134, P0135, P0155.

For others viewing this:

P0134 = O2 sensor circuit-no activity detected (bank 1 sensor 1)

P0135 = O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction (bank 1 sensor 1)

P0155 = O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction (bank 2 sensor 1)

I have a hummer h2 2003 whith a p0135 heater mal funtion bank 1 sensor 1

What you have to do is replace the o2 sensor on bank 1 sensor 1.This is the front sensor on the left side on the exhaust system.Left side is bank 1 and right side is bank 2.Make sure the connections are good first.Usually it`s the internal heater in the o2 sensor.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Diagnostic code p0135

What engine is in this vehicle? I assume the avalon would be a 3.0L or similar V6 engine. Bank 1 sensor one indicates one of the primary O 2 sensor controlling a/f ratio. Sensor one bank one would be the sensor located in the Front manifold, closest to the engine. Hope this solves your issue. I would first check the conector at this sensor for corrison before buying a new sensor.
