I have a 1996 Hyundai Accent 2-door hatchback. It has been an excellent car - hardly any problems other than wear parts. The problem is my driver's side window (manual) which is "stuck". I had it looked at by a mechanic who told me the "track" is "rusted out" and they told me it cannot be fixed without getting a whole new door. Where would I go to find a driver's side door for a 1996 Accent 2-door hatchback? I live in Barrie, Ontario. Thanks. PS: My car is mechanically excellent at 15 years of age with 228,000 km so far!

you will need a phillips screwdriver and a No 10 spanner. Remove the door trim and you will find inside 2 no 10 bolts backside the handle, remove the steel wire to the door lock and thats it
Drivers side kick panel(down by the hood latch) where your left foot is. There is also one under the hood by the drivers side strut tower. If nobody lost it there should even be a fuse puller in there. On the back of the fuse cover is a diagram that tells you which fuse is which.
the little metal rod that goes from the key part of the door lock to the electrical switch has come off ,no doubt the plastic clip that holds it has broken
