SOURCE: 1991 Lexus ES250 Rear Brake Lights

first of all the brake lights are always in the rear only!!. take the light bulb out and while some one is appling the brake pedal check to see if yo have power at only one terminal of the socket, then release the brake pedal and make sure yu dont have power at the same terminal , now if you had poer in one of the terminal then you have to replace the socket for the brake light bulbs.

look under the dash board right at the brake pedal switc where the brake light switch is located and make sure that the wires are not broken, you can also do a quick check by just disconnecting the brake light seitch and then jump the terminal off of the brake switch and you should have light if the light works this way then you have to replace the brake light seitch

SOURCE: brake lights stay on 1991 Lexus LS 400

Simple fix... Just replace the brake light switch. It is located on the brake pedal arm about 6 inches above the pedal, it will have a plug going to it as well.

SOURCE: Replacing cluth Lexus es250

Hi:
Your best bet is to go to :

www.alldatadiy.com

You can get a subscription to your vehicle for about $27
It will have all the info you need, and you can print out wiring diagrams and step by step instructions for anything on your car.

If you go to the site, there are samples to look at for free.

I have used them many times for all my cars and trucks, and they are great.
They also give discounts for more than one vehicle too.l

SOURCE: My boyfriend threw my only key away. How can I

Take down the model number of the car,(on the dash) in the window, take that to a Lexus dealer and they can punch out a new key. Bring proof that you own the vehicle with you.
