Start without key

ive been stalled 2 times on the top floor of a parking garage.
and could not get the tow truck to the car.... due to security arms etc.
I do feel your pain, (aLL non key related. )

my guess, is the car cranks ok but did not start, you failed to say that very important fact, or starts and runs for 2 seconds and dies?
no car starts , if it cant crank
and the IMMO , the IMMOBILIZER has a lamp, did you read the operators guide there. about that, it glows a certain way.
do not ignore this light. read the opr, guide lean lamp loc, and color and logic rules now.

I have an 08 car with this bull on the car, i hate it but its there.
I can make any car theft proof for $1 , dont need, above..... sorry.

Ok the IMMO can fail for many reasons. I will list them, not just Suz.
the key as an electronic transponder in the key head.
1: 2 keys near the ignition, the (magic security box) goes nuts.
2: other keys near the 1 key. bad, and double bad if other key
is some other secuity key. (i can name them)
so remove the key next time from the key chain, and try to start the car
with only one key near the ignition switch,
start now,
3: any key of any kind, metal near the transponder key might
upset the RF transmission path of key so use just 1 key , no rings of any kind, that is WHAT I do , and im a tech, retired.

also underground parking can have other transmission systems.
RF transmitters of many kinds, WIFI, CELL, utility company trunking radio repeaters, and others, at air ports, 10x that.
does your CELL work underground, bingo, lossy coax cell repeats installed, even in car size elevators, this......
i installed all that. in my day job, .

never buy any suzuki, they are chapter 11 here,.
buy a Toyota if rice is your style.

please post back with the details, and can advise. you.
im sure you dont want a repeat, of this, !!!

1999 Buick Century Custom Security light blinks and car will not start

someone told me to by getting out of the car and locking the driver door with the key, going to the front passenger door and unlocking, then relocking the door using the key. I have to repeat this step 2-4 times and eventually it will start. ?????????
This has nothing to do with it starting !

This is what's happening , Inside the lock cylinder are contacts that read the resistance of the pellet on the key , the contacts are getting worn out . You have two options , replace the lock cylinder or by-pass it all together .
The PASS-Key II® ignition key (1) contains a unique resistor pellet which is idenified by the Body Control Module (BCM) (2). There are 15 different key (resistor) codes. Only one ignition key resistor pellet code will work with each PASS-Key II® theft deterrent system.
Ignition Key Lock Cylinder
The ignition lock cylinder contains spring loaded contacts which make physical contact with the ignition key when it is inserted into the ignition lock cylinder. This allows the ignition lock cylinder to provide the Body Control Module (BCM) (2) with the resistor code embedded in the ignition key.

2006 suzuki swift immobiliser light flashing and car not starting what can i do to fix it?

You may have a bad key chip, try a diffrent key in the ignition, also make sure you do not have magnet strip mini swipe cards on key chain near the ignition. this sounds like the immoboilizer system is active. this system will not allow the coils to spark.
The key would be the first thing to check. do this by using another key.if car still will not start then the key reader may be bad, this is located around the ignition . the last problem could be the module or a broken wire. The best way to check this would be with a scan tool. there will be codes stored in the anti or body module. the codes will tell you where the failure is and with some testing the problem can be found. the scan tool can help by reading the values and readings. it can tell you if the key chip is read and if the module accepts it. i think if the spare key does not start the car then it will be cheaper to have a shop diagnose the problem. this will help you from just putting parts in. also this anti theft system needs programing when certain parts are replaced.
hope this is helpful, good day

This car has a chip key, you can't just put any old key in it it must be programmed to not turn on the security system and disable starting, which is what you have now, the system has locked you out.
