MY CAR STARTS BUT WANT GO INTO GEAR AND THE KEY WANT COME OUT
I am dealing with the same problem with my 03 CTS. Everytime I have this issue I have to play around with the theft fuse found under the hood, and my car finally starts. I dont push the fuse all the way back in until I start the car. I just lay it on top until I here a clicking sound and fiddle with it and finally it starts and once it does I just push it back in, close the hood and be on my way. Eventually I have to get it fixed but this is working for now
Mmm well my cadillac dont turn on for nothink just the alarm and lights all i did was checking the fuses and then it shut off
I have the same problem and I boost the car with the battery under the back seat and it will be fine for 2-3 month. It usually happens when it rains or is damp out

We have the same anti theft problem. The key is in the ignition, and will not come out. If anyone has a solution, please let us know.
my 2003 is doing the same . can't get the key out of the ignition , veh won't start , radio is not comming on and is showing service theft system across front of it
The same problem happened to me in February. We replaced the battery and everything was fine. This time we can not remove the key nor will the gears shift. We removed the battery cable a couple of times and removed/replaced the battery and the key still will not come out and the gears will not shift. The dealership wants $150 just to put it on the machine. Oh and when we called them about the problem this time they told us to remove/replace the battery cable and all should be ok. (NOT).

I have an 03 CTS with the same problems. It wont shift, the key wont come out and it is marking "TC" and the anti theft yellow icons on the dash. To top it off my gas gauge is not working.
hi, i have the same problem with my cadillac cts 06, it starts, but the key couldn't come out, it doesn't shift out of park, traction control lights on, and service theft system is displayed......the hic , is that, there is no GM dealer in my country (libya) plz did any one had yhe same problem and got it fixed ?
