Does cleaning oxygen sensor clears p0154 fault

code p 0154 refers to heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 1 bank 2 --no activity detected===causes ---wiring---HO2S--ECM
it also refers to oxygen sensor(O2S) 1 bank 2 no activity detected ===causes --- wiring )2S---ECM
the HO2S is the sensor in the manifold before the cat converter and the O2S is after the cat converter
they can be cleaned in vinegar but they would be showing signs of activity so in this case it is broken wires , bad connections of faulty sensors

Always clear the code and see if it comes back first. Especially with an O2 sensor code.

Po141 keeps coming on even though the part was changes and the code cleared from computer, why?

The P0141 code refers to your o2 sensor heater circuit. while many times replacement of the o2 sensor can solve this problem you possibly have a short or open in your o2 sensor heater circuit. Also was the proper o2 sensor changed p0141 is the bank 1 number 2 sensor. Bank 1 refers to the side of your engine where the #1 cylinder is located sensor 2 should be the second sensor on that side depending on how many sensors you vehicle has. hope this helps

Pontiac Aztek 2001 - 3.4l (non-GT); Codes: P0135, P0141, P0420 all O2 + Converter. Ideas on problem?

P0135 bank 1 sensor 1 open or short in wires, bad connections, bad sensor ,or bad ecm. P0141 bank 1 sensor 2 same diag as P0135. P0420 cat below threshold open or short, or faulty Ho2s sensors.you may have several problems. start with sensors circuit if good change sensors if not trace to ecm if reading not right replace ecm if all good replace sensors clear codes retest drive two drive cycles for cat to clear tests. then with no dtcs present test fuel pressure , injectors, then ignition system ,timing valves ,map, maf sensors, throttle sensor, crank sensor cam sensor, compression.

I have codes: po455, po123. po406 po606.p2104, po2106, p2110, & p2135 help please!

(so i cleared the code..all was fine.) No it wasn't ,you don't just clear code's without doing the diagnostic's for that code . It's just a matter of time ,when the PCM/ECM - engine computer runs that test again, that light will come back on. P0455 is a large leak in the evaporative emission system .Sorry dude but you don't stand a snow ball's chance in guam of fixing this .
Do you know what electronic throttle control is ?
P2135 - ETC Throttle Position (TP) Sensor A/B Voltage Correlation Description: The powertrain control module (PCM) flagged a fault indicating that TP1 and TP2 disagree, or that TP1 should not be in the present position given the position of TP2 unless a concern is present. Possible Causes:
  • TP sensor shorted internally to VREF.
  • TP sensor harness is shorted to power.
  • TP sensor signal wires are shorted together.
  • Damaged TP sensor.
Diagnostic Aids: Compare the TP1 and TP2 PID values for a full sweep and correlation. Refer to the chart in pinpoint test DV. GO to Pinpoint Test DV .
Compare TP1 and TP2 PID values to the typical reference values in Section 6 . Application Key On Engine Off Key On Engine Running Continuous Memory All GO to DV4
P2110 - Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System - Forced Limited RPM Description: The TAC system is in the failure mode effects management (FMEM) mode of forced limited RPM. Possible Causes:
  • Cross-wired TAC motor.
  • Damaged powertrain control module (PCM).
Diagnostic Aids: This DTC indicates only that the FMEM condition exists, and can be set in combination with DTCs P2100, P2101, or P2107, meaning the electronic throttle body (ETB) faults should be diagnosed first. Application Key On Engine Off Key On Engine Running Continuous Memory All GO to QE1
Do yourself a favor an take it to a qualified repair shop.

Check engine light came on though the car runs fine. Mechanic said the code was p0153. He reset it and had me drive it around 'till it came on again. Came on two weeks later.

Why would a mechanic tell you to drive a vehicle
with an O2 Sensor Code, and why clear the code?

Plain stupid

PO153-O2 Sensor (Bank 2 Sensor 1) slow response

Just buy the sensor and replace yourself.

It is slow because it is worn out, most likely over
100,000 miles on it

Replace both front sensors ,if you have 2,the ones
closest to the engine
