There isn't one. Because it is operated by putting the van into gear, it is probably a function of the BCM from a switch on the gearbox. Check the socket for continuity to ground and also for rust.
now please foregive me if i give the wrong answer here as i have never seen this engine but on the Ford D series commercial engines their is a plug in the back of the injector pump flange housing ,you remove this plug and turn engine till you see the mark ,which is 18? for a non turbo and 21? for a turbo version but this one ?? never seen one here in europe so best of british
easy keyway pointing to the top of the engine ,i think their may be marks on the flywheel on the later york engine as their was marks on them at the front of the engine when i worked on the assembly line in 1970 .cant remember the pump timing as the older engines had a inline pump on them and their was a plug at the back of the pump housing that had to line up with a dot on the back of the gearwheel ,long before your time this though ,but the pump timing was about 12? if i remember rightly for an indirect engine and 18 for the dorset engine and 22? for the dorset turbo (Ford D series)Watch when you turn engine over in case you hit the valves ,make sure pistons down a bit then line head timing up then bring the pistons up to TDC
1.8 engine but which engine ,is it a petrol or a diesel ,direct injection or indirect injection ,has the timing belt broke did you mark it up with some white paint??
This webpage tells me topic doesn't exist any other ideas?????
