2002 toyota celica power door lock problem

Hi, I have a 2002 celica and the passenger side power door lock doesn't work anyore. only the driver side lock and trunk work.

    i have a similar problem except its that the driver side does not work. when i press unlock the trunk and passenger side will unlock but the driver side just clicks. so it makes noise but does not actually unlock. i would like to fix this myself.

Are you hearing any noises from the pass door when you activate the lock switch? If not, the power door lock solenoid has failed, and prob needs to be replaced. Pull the door panel & check to see if it is getting power to the solenoid in lock & unlock. If it has power, the solenoid is def bad.

2002 toyota celica passenger window won't work

I watched the dealership mess with same problem before reminding them of the window lock out on the dash. On my 00 celica its between steering wheel and door on lower part of dash. It had been activated and no one thought to check.

The driver side door will not lock or unlock using key fab. Only the passenger and trunk will unlock. Cannot lock my car unless i manually lock my drivers side door, shut it then hit the lock on the key...

some how lever to the lock unit came off , need to open the interior panel of the driver door and put back lever to the lock unit. It should work.

the electic power lock motor inside the door is defective, remove the door panel and replace it

My car wont unlock using the key fob, but it unlocks using the key.....

Key fob has a battery, may be dead.After battery replcement, has to be reprogramed. Not sure how to do it on this vehicle, may have to go to dealer and be reprogramed with a scantool

This happened to me after cleaning my car, i hit a button that is on the left side of the stirring wheel that locks the passeneger window! try that.
