1. When setting the temperature to MAX, blower level to FULL and outside air Vent CLOSED, no hot air comes out after 2-5 minutes?
If YES, when did you last flushed your radiator and is it full?
2. if more than 5 years ago, flush radiator system, instructions are usually in Owners manual. Use a bottle of Radiator cleaner, run egine hot for about 10-15 minutes, carefully open petcock in bottom of radiator to flush out radiator, WARNING, careful as flushed coolant would be boiling hot. As sson petcock is open and water start to flow out, carefully open radiator cap to enhance flushing flow. Use garden hose to fill radiator while flushing until water coming out from petcock is cold and clear.
Once clear, start engine, turn heter full and blower full blast and keep hose in radiator flowing full, leave petcock open until clear water flows out again. Once clear waters comes out, turn off engine, turn off garden hose and let water drain empty radiator. Once it stops flowing out, close petcock snug and put radiator cap on, pull off radiator coolant catch bottle, clean bottle for any debris and dirt. Drain any water, leave bottle empty and put it back onto its place.
3. Fill radiator with 1 gallon (4L) of concentrated coolant, top up radiator until full, fill catch bottle with concentrated coolant, start engine and keep it overflowing until no bubbles comes out and the radiator is fully hot. Once it is flowing good, close and connect everything. Drive with it and keep catch bottle filled as necessarry.
Good luck. Give as vote and good comment if this advise solve youor problem. Thank you.

The radiator fan of my volvo xc90 is not working when I started the engine. Is this normal

If the engine is cold and air conditioner is off, yes this is normal. If the engine is hot and temp. gauge reads hotter than normal, yes. If you do have an issue, it could be that you have a bad sensor or worse, a bad fan motor. Am not not a Volvo technician but those type things are all common in most vehicles manufactured today. Hope hope this gets you headed in the right direction. Jesus loves you, John 3:16-17 (KJV)

Hanged thermostat blows plenty of air but cold. Maybe blend door stuck?

Feel both heater hoses at the firewall with the engine at normal operating temperature. One is inlet and one is outlet, but both should feel hot if the heater core is circulating properly. If both are hot, yes, probably the blend door is the problem.

Loud idle running hot in park but not in drive

double posted
post RPM in both modes,
it must be the same
the ISC idle controls system controls idle at all times.
post RPM. 800 is normal. the exact valve is in the FSM
and posted under the hood in USA.
no country stated in 4000s posts so.... well, gee....
here, open the hood, look up, see EPA vacuum map
that is also the the engine size and type , and most state the normal
hot RPM clearly there, and is in the FSM.

here is the acid test. hot.
in park hot, rpm 800 if not the ISC fuction is dead
"idle speed controls"
good? yes.
then select drive. if RPM drops ISC is malfing.
now back to park. (all this is in the FSM to read)
now 800 hot. you turn on all heavy electrical loads
the rpm does not drop. Head lights + heater fan, and defrost.
all these test he ISC, if it fails its bad.
what does bad mean, that means its out of control
and you do further testing to find the reasons.

vast reasons.
Ill name 3:
intake air leaks. aka vacuum leaks.
ISC valve dirty , clean it.
throttle cables , misadjusted.
cold start air valve stuck open hot.

Newheater core new thermostat clean hosesnew anti freeze why no heat?

Depends.
Are the heater hoses getting hot ?
Is the engine warming up to normal temp ?
If yes, you could have a problem with a blend door under the dash.
The blend doors direct air thru the heater core and the vents.

Heat blows out air but does not get warm, any ideas?

If it is faulty, yes.
Does the temp gauge show the engine is warming up to normal temp ?
Is the radiator full of coolant ?
Are the heater hoses getting hot ?
It could also be a faulty blend door under the dash. The blend doors direct air thru the heater core and the vents.

Buick Rendezvous Heating have Problem

Not a problem. I'm glad to help. As far as the vents, yes they run by vacuum. If the blend door or other door isn't opening or closing, you could draw cold air from one vent and warm in another.

Give it a try and let me know if you find anything. If you can't, I'll see if I can dig a vacuum diagram for the system ,may be you can find your problem

Air conditioning seems always on

you have a bad a|c switch and far as gas consumption goes the answer is yes, because if the a|c is always on then there is a constant load on the engine
