2004 Hyundai Santa Fe stalls everytime you put gas in it. You have to wait approximately 5 minutes, then it will start. Doesn't stall any other time. What could possibly cause this?

Did some research and found quite a few people with the same problem. All solutions were the same. Replace the Purge Control Valve, Hyundai part number 28910-22040. It is covered under warranty.

I have trouble starting my 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe after fueling.

Some vehicles have a fuel cap pressure censer in the computer this will sometimes cause the engine lite to come on. Make sure to tighten the fuel cap all the way. You might try replacing the fuel cap.

My 2002 hyundai santa fe just stops, when im driving with my foot on the gas it stalls and loses all power then if i wait 5-10 min it starts back up

more than likely the crank sensor is the fix. once the engine cools down the sensor also cools .
if you could take it out right away and shoot freon on it and put it back in it would start wright up.

2003 santa fe

It needs a new pruge valve. The purge valve is sticking open allowing fuel vapors into the intake manifold causing a rich hard start condition.
