Yes only certain types and sizes of batteries will fit your Jeep.
The best thing to do is visit a Autozone store. They are everywhere. They will check your old battery and if found bad they will replace it with one of theirs. You will only pay for the battery and not the installation.
Expect to spend about $80. If you have a Wal-Mart Super Center near by with an auto repair they will do the same thing for a few bucks cheaper.

I would invest in a high CCA = Cold Cranking Amp Battery, the higher the better espicially if your in a colder region. I also would recomend buying it at Wal Mart or Sams Club as there all over the U.S. and comes in handy when traveling as there stores are all over the country and open 24/7 so keep your reciept in your car. Also invest in AAA as you will always need a jump or fuel or tires one day it does pay for itself. Ok Peace Good Luck hope this helps.
