Need to check turn signal contacts in column,

Best thing to do, honestly, is to purchase a chilton's or haynes manual when you are working around the air bags. Better safe than sorry.

Ignition switch replacement

You will need to remove the steering wheel, if you have an airbag disarm it, this is very important, disconnect the battery and unplug the airbag diagnostic monitor, then remove the large nut retaining the wheel to the steering shaft, you will need a steering wheel puller to get the wheel off, very cheap tool avail from most parts stores, after the wheel is off remove the turn signal switch and move it to the left, under that switch you will see the pin that retains the lock cylinder, it will be a cross point screw, remove it, with the key turned to on remove the lock cylinder.

You will have to pull the steering wheel off and then the turn signal switch, under that is a release pin to remove the lock cylinder. Since you will have to remove the airbag on the wheel obtain and follow exactly the disarming instructions for the airbag system, if it goes off because it was not disarmed then very serious injury can result.
