The 2004 malibu does not have a place to put transmission fluid it has a electric power steering system and does not use fluid, if you are having a problem with the power steering light chimming and lighting up this is under a recall that chevy has obligated to fix. So if your car is doing this take it to your local chevy dealership and have them to repair it for you. Hope this helps.

Mine was repaired under this recall, but has failed again and the stealership wants 1500 to fix it this time.

Where is the power steering located at in a 2000 chevrolet malibu

If you mean the power steering pump, just look for the pump fluid reservoir. The power steering pump and reservoir are together as an assembly.

Where to put power steering fluid in a 2011 chevy malibu ltz v-6

The reason you cannot locate a fluid reservoir is because there is none. Your car has an electric power steering. If the problem continues to persist, you may have to replace the power steering pump.

Where can I find the power steering resevior

there is a good reason why you can not find the power steering reservoir. It does not have one.

You vehicle has electronic power steering. There is no hydraulic pump, hoses, or reservoir. The steering column has an electric motor and a control unit mounted to it under the dash.

Where do you put power steering fluid in a 2007 malibu Ltz.

Power Steering Fluid Power steering pumps are ordinarily lubricated with power steering fluid. Use the correct type for the vehicle. Check the owner's manual if you are unsure.

Usually it's a belt driven power steering fluid pump that has hoses that lead to the rack and pinion steering.

Unscrew the cap and add power steering fluid to it there.

My power steering went out the other morning but it started working again. I was thinking maybe i needed some fluid in it but could not find the power steering pump and where to put the fluid at. Its an 07...

It should be on the lower right hand side in front of engine, look at your serpentine belt and it should wrap around a pulley that operates the pump, will be small, and if you find the right resivior, it will have a small dipstick attached to the cap, this will be the power steering put, be careful not to overservice, or premature failure may result. It is most likely just low on fluid and when you make a turn the level rises slightly enough to pick up fluid to operate the assisted steering.
