I have a Honda 2003 CRV. The air conditioner does not work any longer and the bearings are starting to seize. I want to bypass the air conditioner and put a smaller serpentine belt on. I need the dimensions for the smaller belt or is the a kit to replace the air compressor with a wheel kit?

You need to get a cloth tape measure (seamstress style) and run over pulleys you want to route belt. Get that measurement and any auto parts store can fix you up.

2002 Honda CRV LX. What size belt do I need im putting an A/C compressor bypass pulley on my 2002 honda crv lx and don't know what belt I need to use help me please.

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to Honda CRV.

The whole idea of using a Bypass Pulley is that it mimics the A/C compressor. You use the same belt. You can use the one that came off it, although you may as well put a new one on at the same time.

Air conditioner compressor has seized; would like to bypass but understand no bypass pulley is available; how do I do this without this pulley? Can I simply put on a shorter belt?

NO sorry ,you will have to take it off and get it recoed and refitted OR take it into the AIR con people so they can fit a new or recoed one so you can be safe and with out having troubles again .
As its only the bearings in the front pully but they can cause a lot of problems when they fly off in bits.

Is there any way to bypass the a/c compressor on a 2002 crv honda? Mine is locked up for the 2nd time and I want to drive it without a/c untill I can get it fixed. Thanks,

You can by first unplugging the fan motor that is for the air conditioner and then rleasing all the freion in the system but stand back when doing so, and then just drive until fixed.
