Hi, My battery on my Bonniville SSE (97) has been disconnected twice. Each time the heater will blow only cold air and the temp read starts to blink. The 1st time it would blow hot air then it would start to blink and start blowing faster and cold air. This time is the same. If I turn the car off and sart it again it would blow hot air then but not everytime. Rick

You need to retrieve the BCM (Body Control Module) faulty code with a scanner. Fix any code that you find.
Try to erase any code and see if the problem is solved.

Hope it helps.

My 97 bonniville Pontiac heater was working fine then go back in car turned on 3 lines showed in my heater display pushed all buttons and wont come on

Try checking if you have any bad fuses. If good, continue checking power to the switch, if good, continue to check if you are getting power to the heater motor it self.

When I turn the car off and remove the key the heater/ac stays on. I turn the blower off and it shuts off but the temp display stays on. It is a 1997 Bonniville SSE.

Sounds like the controller is out. The controller is the actual panel with the buttons you push to make the air come on. Remove the trim from around it...if you dont see screws...they probably snap out. remove 4 screws that hold controller in place. carefully pull controller out enough to get to electrical and vacuum hose connections. Go to wrecking yard or E-Bay Motors...online for replacement. Installation is in reverse of removal.

I need to replace the starter on a 2001 pontiac bonniville, I just need a diagram of were its located on the enigine.

It should be between the radiator and engine, you may have to remove the plastic splash shield to get at it. Don't forget to disconnect the battery, there is power to the stater solenoid all the time. Good luck!

My 97 bonniville starts but then stalls right away

try disconnecting the wiring harness to the MAF ( mass air floww sensor) and see if it stays running if it does replace it (if not the car will run real rich, burn fuel and leave a cloud of smoke behind you.

I have a positive camber problem. Was told that the 1997 Bonniville SSE series did not have adjustable cambers. Causing a real bad shimmy and ware on the outside of the tires How do I get this fixed?

That's BULL you have camber adjustment on all for tires & wheels a decent susp mech can diag your problem you have something worn or bent if he can not get the car back to preff factory specs get it diag at another shop and get your money back from that shoddy shop for tires & alignment
