I have a 2000 volkswagon new beetle GE and the head lights keep going out every few months,I replaced the head light wiring harness for both the driver side and passenager side and that did not solve the...

I have a few beetle ( vw and audi too) customers who are regulars for headlamps.
I first had this problem on my 96 audi a4 and I came up with a simple solution
If you have fog lamps leave them on all the time. my headlamp failures went way down when I did that.

Try this if you have fog lamps, my customers did not have fog lamps so they could not try it.

Hope this helps, it it does please leave feedback and vote Thank You and Good Luck

Change drivers side headlamp bulb

Front bumper cover has to be dropped down to be able to loosen headlamp unit enough to get to the back of it. Dealer will probably charge an hour for labor.

I need to find the fuse location for the headlamps on a 1999 Audi 2.8 A4 Quattro? Can you help?

The fuses location for the headlamps on a 1999 Audi 2.8 A4 Quattro are:
F18 (10 A) - RH headlamp - high beam
F19 (10 A) - LH headlamp - high beam
F20 (10 A \ 15A) - RH headlamp - low beam, headlamp adjustment
F21 (10 A \ 15A) - LH headlamp - low beam, headlamp adjustment

For Audi A4 the fuse box is located on the left side of dashboard behind a plastic cover (for left hand steering wheel vehicle). On inner face of the plastic cover you will find the fuse diagram.

How do you change a front right park light on an audi A4 2003

The easiest way is to remove the headlamp assy.  To do this removed air duct on RH side. remove 2 philips screws and pull up on other end at air filter box.  Next you will see 2 Torx T30 bolts that are holding to headlamp mouting brackets.  remove these completely.  Get a flashlight and look down inside eng bay you will see 2 more mouting points w/ t30 bolts.  loosen but dont entirely remove these.  Slide headlight out.  The park light socket has a big fin style tab grab firmly and twist counter clockwise.  Be sure after removing the bulb that the socket contacts aren't burnt up.  If they are you need a new socket and bulb.  Before reassembling test lights to make sure they work properly and install in reverse order of removal.

Driver Side turn Signal Bulb

There's one more "hidden" bolt. Above and behind the corner of the headlamp, along the top ridge of the fender, there's a hole in the fender lip. Shine a flashlight down in there and you'll see the head of the third bolt. Remove that, and the headlight assembly will slide forward so you can change the bulb.
