My 2001 520i BMW 2001 model has stopped blowing heat/ac. It was working fine when I last drove it for about 100 miles. But then the next day it didn't work at all. Even front and side windows demisters not working. However rear screen demister is working nice.I am not sure what could b the problem. ThoughI have checked fuse in the fuse box in the car boot. It seems to be ok.

Hi there,
I had the same problem with my 325 coupe. I had no blowing air and the only heat i got was coming from the engine. I got an auto electrician to look at this and he found it was the heater motor resistor that was broke. I got mine from BMW and cost me about £120.00. I hope you can get it sorted.

I have a 2004 Lincoln LS 3.0. I recently had the AC compressor replaced. I would drive for about 100 miles then a fuse would blow. I took it back in to the dealer and they replaced the DCCV and various...

sounds like you have a wire rubbing against metal and blowing the fuse. look in owner's manual and see if the a/c fuse only powers the a/c compressor. if it does the bypass the wire with one ran from the compressor to the a/c fuse and drive vehicle to see if it blows again. if it has other things powered by the fuse then check all the wires for rubbed or broken areas.

The checj engine light on my 99 pontiac sunfire came on last week and stayed on when i drove only a few short distances. it sat for 4 days and was on again when i drove under 8 miles then finally turned...

first of all, was the water on the passenger side from the air conditioner or a leak (what color was the fluid?)-the cap has to be tight, otherwise it will not hold pressure, so that has to be checked before you set off again-push down as you turn the cap clockwise, and it will not hurt to have water in the system (it actually transfers heat better than antifreeze) but it has a much lower boiling point, so the cap has to be tight. Pay attention to the temperature gauge and do NOT overheat it-it is an aluminum engine and they do not tolerate excessive heat. Take your time, no AC (although the AC being on can keep a good cooling system more stable since the radiator fan is forced on when the AC is running, so you can, within reason, experiment)-no matter what, just don't let it run hot-not worth it.

1990 325i Convertible- not starting

There is probably a fuel relay somewhere in that circuit to, that may be faulty. Check your front drivers side inner fender by shock tower for 3 relays. It should be the middle one.
