Recommend replacing the fuse (Blower motor resistor) anyway - It's quite common for these to go bad on 5 series Bimmer's, which of course leads to dead batteries.

Heater fan does not work, fuses seem ok?

three things to check... one is the relay for the fan may have failed (you can find it in your fuse panel)... the resister block located on the duct work leading to the fan may have failed (tho generally when this happens you will only be able to get one or two different speeds instead of stoping completely. and the other is that the fan itself may have failed. to check this you would need to apply voltage directly to the fan. start with the relay first.. then the resister block and if those are both good... check the fan itself.

Heater fan don't work, don't know which fuse operates heater fan

Hi!!
Look in engine compartment close to battery for fuse box, remove cover and inside cover there is a diagram of fuse/relay locations.
You are looking for a fuse and relay, it should say blower fan or AC blower fan. First check fuse, if Fuse is ok. check Relay.
Good Luck!! Don't forget to rate this post!!

The heater fan doesn't work on my 1996 Ford Taurus. I looked for a fan fuse in the fuse box but couldn't find one. Any suggestions?

Check to see if you have power at the heater fan. It should be right under your glove box. Find the plug in and unplug it use a test light to see if you have power. If there is power at the fan plug than you need a new blower motor. Check in the fuse box under the hood for a relay or fuse also.

you could have a bad relay. Try googling the location of the blower relay in your particular make and model.

Most likely the switch or the fan motor it self.

Blower motor, heater fan, radiator fan not working im not sure what the problem is. there is no power getting to these parts

Blower motor problem may resistor, have seen resistor and connector burnt. Resistor is located under dash on right side on heater case, check for damage.Radiator fan has 2 relays, high and low and also has a resistor,I would start with these items. Make sure fuses are ok.
