How To Install Replace Windsheild Washer Reservoir Bottle FordEscape ... a broken, damaged, split or leaking windshield washer bottle.

washer bottle pump will be located at the bottom end of washer bottle tank,disconnect water hose and electrical connector .
gently twist and wiggle out.
To re install insert new seal in bottle apply some lub and push into washer bottle .
reconnect hose wire electrical terminal .
all should be good now..

Either replace the washer bottle or pull the pump and replace the pump some cases has had a pump leaking around the seal or a cracked pump due to adding water in the fluid bottle, never add water it will freeze and pop the pump

Could be a couple of things ,,,, If the washer resevoir frooze in the recent past it could have split the motor/bottle or hoses attached, it may also be the anti return valve (Y shaped) on the hose work split and causing a drip !

You'll need to pull the bottle out to see where the leak is occuring. Look for

* split hoses from the pump(s). This is the more likely cause of the leak.
* pump O-rings. Remove and clean, and reassemble.

If the bottle itself has a crack or split, I've had success using a large 40W soldering iron with a flat tip to to CAREFULLY heat the plastic (often something like nylon) and effectively weld the split back together.

1) Nozzle could be partially blocked, try cleaning out with a pin.
2) Pipe from pump to nozzle could be partially blocked or have a hole/split in it.
See if you can detach and blow down it, if clear, is there water from the washer bottle leaking in and odd place.
3) The pump could be partially blocked, needs taking out and cleaning, could try flush with clean water first.

Most washer bottles have the pump assembly mounted directly in the bottom of the bottle and after several years the seal on the shaft between the pump impeller and the motor can become worn and hard and start to leak. Also the tube on the outlet of the pump could be loose or has become disconnected allowing any fluid to run out. To check, remove washer bottle from vehicle (you may have to remove other components to access the attaching bolts) and check security of outlet tube. If split or loose cut a bit off the end and re attch to outlet. If the seal on the pump shaft has been leaking and allowing water into the motor, there will be some corrosion on the inside and minimal lubrication on the bearings. You could try dismantling the pump and applying some water resistant grease to the shaft seal and bearings, but it would only be a temporary fix. Best option for this fault would be to replace the pump motor assembly.

no chance bruv, the bottle is under the wing and you will have to take the plastic inner wing out to gain access ,then its either the motor rubber grommet or a pipe leaking ---somewhere --- never had a split bottle but their is always a first time for everything

If you are talking about the window washer bottle and the cooling system bottle the answer is no. The washer bottle goes to the winshield washer ports and the coolent bottle goes to the radiator
