Hi my name is Jose i have a 2009 RX350 and I'm having problem boosting the car. I got another car and connected the cables red with red and black with black. I did that for 20 mins, all it did was recharge the battery. Now all the lights works excep the windows, the seets, the starter, I cants open the back door.
What's can I do or how can I start it, I even try to read the book and put red where it goes and ground the black wire on the RX

Blew a fuse is likely problem, especially if you did not jump it correctly. Cannot tell you how many times I have walked up to people in parking lots to potentially save their life and/or limbs. Connecting a dead battery to a live battery wire to wire is just plain dangerous. Start at the dead battery. Connect the red cable to the red (+) terminal on the dead battery. Connect the other end of that cable to the red (+) terminal of the live battery. Connect the black cable to the black (-) terminal of the live battery. (CAUTION: Before making this connection, make sure the other end is not touching a ground). Finally, connect the last connection to the dead battery's car on a good unpainted grounding point away from the battery if at all possible. A usually good point to use is the area where the hood latch is located. Small sparks will let you know it is a good ground. Start the live battery's car. Let it run for about 5-10 minutes with all lights and accessories turned off in both cars. Now attempt to start the dead battery car. Disconnect in reverse order. Good luck and be safe.
Hi Jose, Sounds to me as if you have a problem with the charging system. Check the earth connections and make sure of good contacts. If the earth cable is overheating its usually a sign of poor connections causing high resistance. Get the problem seen to asap as over heated cables are dangerous and can be life threatening. Give the car a boost. Hook cables from one battery to another making sure the red , [pos] is on the red [pos] , and black [neg] is connected to black [neg] of other vehicle. Let car charge this way for a few minutes and restart. Sounds like a bad battery, won't hold the charge. Does the car turn over at all, or everything is dead? A tow company will offer boosts as so do most cab companies. Good luck
