Electrical Problem When I first discovered side mirrors, door locks, and radio weren't working, replaced fused and all three worked, again. Shortly after replacing fuse, all three went out, again. This time could hear a sizzling sound coming from the fuse box area just before items quite working. Replaced fuse one more time and the same thing happened. What is best way to correct this problem?

    Today I went to start my car and I had no power. My power locks didn't work and the car wouldn't turn over. I got the car jumped and now the radio doesn't work and the power locks still don't work. Does anyone know which fuse I need to change and if there is a spare that I can pull from the box to use until I can get another one?

    was blowing fuses for the radio and interior lights left the fuse out for awhile then put one in now it still doesnt work with a new fuse

I would operate one by one mirrors left-right,radio, electric locks.
I would first dont operate side mirrors and observe if fuse remain then leave radio disconected (dont power on or remove its wire harness). If with radio disconnected fuse is not blown, i would use electrical locking and test again.

First thing to check is the fuses. Look underneath the drivers side steering wheel (to the left) for a covered fuse box. Remove the cover and find the fuse that controls the locks and windows and mirrors (two-three separate fuses) Pull them out "one by one" and see if they are burned out. If they are, replace them with the correct number fuse.If it is not the fuse, the door lock actuator has failed (for the door locks) or the master switch that controls the locks is bad. Go to your local junk yard and find a replacement for cheap

do you have an aftermarket stereo? if you do, unplug it and see how long the fuses last. check your lighter and make sure there are no foreing object in there that can cause a short. when you replace the fuses, take notice of which action causes the fuses to blow... for example, door lock unlock, are they still ok, door lock, lock..check again, mirror left, still ok, so forth and so on. take it one at a time and see which action causes them to blow. when they blow do it again to see if the same action that caused them to blow the first time did it again, then trace those wires. you probably have a bad relay somewhere.

Since the locks stopped working as well, my guess is a fuse is blown. The first thing you should always do when accessories or lights or electrical things stop working is check all of your fuses (sometimes you'll have them in the engine bay as well as under the dash). I can't tell you how many times I've spent hours trying to track down an electrical problem only to discover that work I was previously doing had made a fuse blow.

It may also be a bad relay but I'd start with the fuses first.
