I had all my spark plugs changed at Canadian Tire Automotive centre six weeks ago. Very expensive. However, I noticed over the last three days that my Lexus ES 300 (1998) would "hard start" each morning and just yesterday, after running errands for over an hour, it hard started at various intervals. Is this possibly the battery that might be dying?

SOURCE: '98 Lexus ES300 Won't Start--But Has New Battery!

If your is exhibiting the same signs as a dead battery it really sounds like your alternator is bad. If you are handy, you can remove the alternator and take it to an autoparts store like autozone and they will test it for you. This is not a hard job to do, usually 2 electrical connections, 3-5 mounting bolts and you have to pop the belt off. Just reverse it to install a new one. Good luck! - Nick

SOURCE: Starting problem for 1999 Lexus GS300

make sure the air filter lid has been put back into proper place, if they left it loose the engine would **** more air while trying to start, so you need more fuel to balance it out.

SOURCE: '92 Lexus Es 300 - White smoke from exhaust and smells like gas.

ITS THE ECU. misfiring and white smoke from the exhuast THAT SMELLS LIKE GAS is an ECU problem. let it run, and the "white smoke" will condense in the muffler, get a little on a stick and try to light it. it will. its gas. replace ur ecu. (i have had this problem already on same car)

What cars use fram oil filter cor10060tle?

If you go to your local Canadian Tire (or any other automotive supply store, they will have a book with every make and model of vehicle listed, and the oil filter for each one.
Most people look up their vehicle and buy the appropriate filter for less than $10.00 Canadian.
On a rainy day it might be entertaining to go to Canadian Tire and make a list of every vehicle that your filter would fit.
Fortunately, I have to vacuum the cat so I haven't the time.
Cheers.

Hi Barry:
I've found that NAPA, Canadian Tire, almost every automotive supply store, have cross references for recommended spark plugs for every make and model of engine.
I'd suggest that you check with them.

2006 Cadillac cts is burning gas faster than the normal rate after i got an oil change at jiffy lube 2 weeks ago

I dont think there is a connection between an oil change and the gallons per mile.
With that age car, I suggest a Terra engine clean. It will blow away nine years of gunk from the spark plugs, fuel injectors, cylinders and exhaust. Should give you more power, more miles..

I have a 2003 v6 toyota camry. i am changing the spark plugs for this vehicle. i am having trouble locating three of the six spark plugs as a mechanist told me there should be three more...where are they...

The back three spark plugs on the V6 are difficult to reach without a socket extension. if part of the engine is hindering you from taking out back plugs. then remove the part thats in the way. then replce when done. have a good day !!
